Originally from South Carolina, I moved to western North Carolina in 2015 to live in the mountains near rivers, trails, and beautiful views. I love hiking, nature photography, and exploring the variety of offerings in the region. I got my real estate license in 2015, watched real estate activities and trends, and researched the area in terms of amenities, schools, recreation, and entertainment. Now that I have activated my broker license, I am ready to put my knowledge to work for anyone wanting to call western North Carolina home. As a former teacher I bring skills including organization, attention to detail, and client connections to the field of real estate. My reputation as a caring, fair, and responsive educator are attributes that apply to me as a real estate agent. My passion for the environment and the natural beauty of Western North Carolina inspired me to earn my Green designation, enabling me to guide others in incorporating eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable materials and systems into their homes and lifestyles. My personal experience coordinating my mother’s transition—from an assisted living apartment to a long-term skilled nursing facility—along with my own empty-nest journey, made me realize the importance of helping others in similar situations. To better serve clients at every stage of life, I also earned my Senior Real Estate Specialist designation. Combining skills from my career as an educator with my exploration of the region and broker credentials, I individualize the home buying or selling process for every client, with the client's best interests at heart!
